When your psychic advisor is busy: Lucaryn waitlists and appointments

By Lucaryn Team · Published

Understand Available and Busy status, optional Lucaryn waitlists, the 60-second acceptance window and choosing a wait limit from 30 minutes to 10 hours.

Available, Busy and Offline describe different situations

An Available advisor is currently offering the option to request a chat. Busy means they are handling another connection or reading. Offline means they are not currently available to accept chats through their monitor.

The front-page chat directory displays advisors with a current monitor connection who are Available or Busy. An advisor’s public profile can still be useful when they are not on the front page: you can review their style, rate and background before returning another time. Presence can change between opening a page and making a request.

A waitlist is an option the advisor chooses

Not every advisor enables a waitlist. When the option is available, it lets a customer wait for that advisor instead of repeatedly checking their profile. It does not make an ongoing reading end sooner, and it is not a promise of an exact start time.

Before joining, decide whether speaking to that specific person matters more than connecting with someone Available now. If you have only a few minutes free, choosing an available advisor may be a better fit than entering a queue.

Choose a realistic waiting limit

Lucaryn lets you choose a whole-minute wait limit between 30 minutes and 600 minutes, which is 10 hours. Choose a period during which you can actually respond and keep the monitor open. The maximum is an upper limit you select, not a prediction of how long the line will take.

You can leave the waitlist if your plans change. Avoid staying in a queue after you are no longer available. Waiting time is different from accepted reading time; a pending request is not itself a paid reading.

What happens when your turn comes

When the previous reading ends, the system can dispatch the next eligible waiting request to the advisor. The request has its own notification and a fresh 60-second acceptance window. The advisor still needs to accept the connection; being next in line does not authorize a charge before acceptance.

Watch the workspace for the request’s status. If the connection is missed or cannot be completed, it should end rather than leave you indefinitely in a ringing session. If a status appears stuck, record the session reference and contact support.

Appointments are a separate choice

Some advisors also opt into appointment booking. Use the times and timezone shown in the booking flow, and verify the advisor’s identity before saving a slot. An appointment is a scheduling arrangement, while a waitlist is for an available opening after current work.

Review the details you actually see before confirming. Do not assume an appointment includes free time, guarantees a reading outcome or changes the advisor’s published rate. If your plans change, use the available booking controls or contact support rather than joining several overlapping queues.

Prepare while you wait

Use the waiting period to write one focused question, review the per-minute price and check your balance. Keep card checkout separate from the conversation: funds become available only after payment verification.

Once accepted, follow the session timer and balance. Afterward, find the reading in Chat Activity for the receipt and any eligible feedback option. If you report a missed request, a session identifier and approximate time help support distinguish the waiting request from the reading that came before it.

Explore your next step

Read an advisor’s profile, compare their rate and choose a reading style that feels comfortable.
